The EMRI Return Idler Frame is a drop-in, retractable idler solution that gives safe, direct access for roller change-outs without altering your conveyor geometry. It maintains identical parameters to your existing return idler design, adding a retractable trolley and an integrated belt-lifting system that raises the belt clear of the rollers.
A positive locking arrangement holds the roller trolleys in an inclined position during operation. During maintenance the trolleys are lowered to horizontal and slide out for ergonomic access at the side of the conveyor. Installation is simple: the EMRI frame replaces the existing return idler assembly with no modification to the conveyor structure.
Roller change-out in five steps
- Remove the M20 locking bolts holding the trolleys in their inclined operating position
- Lower the trolleys to horizontal
- Engage the built-in belt lifter to raise the belt clear of the rollers
- Slide the trolleys out for direct access — no reaching under the belt
- Replace rollers using the dedicated removal tool, slide back, re-lock
